Our Privacy Policy is as follows:
We are committed to carefully guarding the private information you entrust to us. We will not provide member information to anyone who is doing business on our behalf for marketing purposes. We will not share member’s medical information with anyone unless you request us to do so. We will not sell members information.
Disclosure of Information:
We do share member’s information as it becomes necessary in order to handle your claims and/or service your policy(ies). For example, we may provide your name, address, coverage limits and other pertinent information to claims adjusters in the event of a loss. We may disclose transaction information such as payment of premiums and our experiences with you to other people or organizations as permitted or required by law. We may disclose member information to our company agents, board of directors, and reinsurers concerning transactions with us such as payment history, information pertaining to a claim, underwriting, and information provided to us by you on your application. We may disclose member information to other agents and/or agencies or companies to provide you with additional insurance products such as flood insurance.
Information We Collect:
Flathead Farm Mutual Insurance Company collects and uses nonpublic personal information about you to conduct our business and to deliver quality customer service. Sources of this information include:
- Information we received from you on your application for insurance and/or correspondence or communication with us through the mail, by telephone, or over the internet.
- Information we receive from third parties, such as your claim history, mortgagee information, member referrals, agents and/or agencies or companies outside of the Flathead Farm Mutual Insurance Company.
Your Right to Choose:
You have the right to instruct us not to share your private information with third parties outside our family of companies. Even though you may instruct us not to share your private information with third parties, we may still make disclosures to them of your private information for those purposes which are required or permitted by law. If you instruct us not to share your private information with third parties outside our family of companies, that instruction will apply to all the products you have with our company. If there are multiple owners of any insurance product or service, any one of you may request that we not share information on behalf of you and the other owners. We will honor your instructions for as long as you are our member and for as long as we maintain information about you.
